Coded Lock

Location: The Front of House staff room off the main foyer
Medium: Plasticine
Comment: Small plasticine sculpture, positioned on the wall of the staff room behind the door, depicting the coded entry lock on the outside of the door. The sculpture is deliberately positioned so that the handle on the back of the door makes contact with the artwork when opened fully. Therefore the sculpture will change gradually over the exhibition period, and offers the possibility that all ICA employees who know the code of the lock can contribute to this alteration.
